hg-tv-former-star

In this episode of the podcast, I speak with former HGTV star Paige Rien. She’s a former HGTV home improvement lead and current designer that helps people cultivate and love their homes!

Her latest book is Revived & Renovated: Conversations on the Intersection of Home, Faith & Everything in Between. In it, you’ll find timeless bits of wisdom packaged in simple but beautiful metaphors of the home.

I had no idea how much Paige and I had in common when we started this conversation, but when you say “eating disorder” and “sobriety,” I’m immediately gonna be your best friend.

In this conversation, I talk to Paige about what it was like ascending to semi-fame on TV, her struggle with addictions, infertility and converting to Catholicism. How did HGTV star life affect her and what does she think on it looking back?

I was fascinated by her adult conversion, her many, hard-won years of sobriety from alcohol and how she’s built a better life for herself and her family through it all. I think you’ll be inspired and motivated by her story. Even if your struggles aren’t the same ones, we can all relate to something in this conversation.
