I’ve come upon my last month as a 2017 ambassador for Premier Protein, but it’s not the end of my protein journey. While I’ve always been big on exercise, it wasn’t until this year that I truly saw nutrition play a significant role in my athletic life.

I had no excuses not to start upping my protein, with a pantry full of Premier and a renewed knowledge about the power of protein for body and life. Previously, it had always seemed too expensive and I mean, could it really make that much of a difference?

YES. The answer is yes. There’s a reason so many athletes swear by it — and a reason my body changed completely when I finally took it seriously.

As a reminder, I lost about 12 pounds and made more strength gains than I ever have my entire athletic career. I felt fuller longer and learned about pairing protein and carbs the right way. Now that I’m 15 weeks into my pregnancy and have gained 10 pounds, I’m STILL lighter than I was when I started my first pregnancy (not for long! 🙂

Some people thing protein shakes/drinks aren’t their thing, but if you are even a little serious about weight loss and muscle building, consider it.

I was excited to share Premier Protein with a group of friends this weekend — all Moms who certainly need to maintain their energy throughout the day.

Most of them have heard me rave about it before, but it was nice to be able to share some product with them to take home to try themselves. The flavor options are awesome and so is the price tag — as many protein powders are overpriced. Premier is not and can be found in almost any store, including Wal-Mart, Costco and more.

I’m not sure why I was so stubborn for so long when it came to really giving protein supplements a chance but I’m sure glad I finally did it.  I know what will be super helpful when I am coming back from baby #2!
