I know one thing and it’s this: I love anything with peanut butter. So does my husband. We definitely go through a jar a week — that’s mostly his doing — but I would feel like we had bare cupboards if PB wasn’t there.

So when I got the chance to try NuttZo — a new product that combines all kinds of nuts and nutrients into one “butter” — I knew it would be my thing. I am a massive fan of almond butter as well, just btw. This review was made possible through Fitfluential and NuttZo — and I did receive free product though my views on it are 100% honest 🙂

NuttZo is delicious and something you can feel good about eating because it uses 10 different organic ingredients in each batch, including: peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, brazil nuts, flaxseeds, dark chocolate, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, and pumpkin seeds.

So healthy. In fact, did you know that organic flaxseeds have anti-fungal and anti-cancer properties? Or that Brazil nuts are the number one plant source of selenium, which helps protect the body from infection?

You read more about the benefits of each individual ingredient here.

Of course, I wanted the crunchy version (and the chocolate version!) but they are available in creamy and also, peanut-free if you are allergic.

Of course the best thing about nut butters is that you can do much with them. Here’s how I used my Nuttzo so far:

  • On toast with honey & bananas
  • Dip a banana in it and freeze — eat as a popsicle
  • Stirred into oatmeal with honey
  • Mixed up on a green smoothie
  • Ate a spoonful straight out of the jar for dessert (#SorryImNotSorry)

There are a ton of other recipes listed on this page. Giselle suggested putting it in stuffed dates! I also found these NuttZo Butter Cups from Coastal Kitchen, which I plan on making sometime in the very near future! See here:

So if you are a fan of peanut butter — or any kind of nut butters — there is NO WAY on earth you won’t like NuttZo. I’m always up for trying new flavors of nut butter and this didn’t disappoint. PLUS — they are getting super environmentally friendly by switching to glass jars instead of plastic. 10 points for that!

**Also (and you know I love this!): NuttZo donates 1% of gross sales to the non-profit, Project Left Behind, that funds programs in orphanages around the world.

NuttZo is located at select stores or you can order online. There is also a store locater on their website to see if places near you sell it.  Follow them on Facebook and Twitter for new product news!
