You know that symbol right? The face of Under Armour — one of the best fitness brands around! I remember when I first heard of UA and was slightly obsessed with them. This was before I actually doled out money for nice workout clothes, though, so I refused to invest!
Now, I know buying clothes from UA is worth what you put into it — because it’s made to last and made specifically for sweat-astic individuals like ourselves (you and me!)
I normally shop at Sports Authority, which was an awesome selection of UA that tempts me every time I walk in.
But let me get to the point...Under Armour tweeted me! It was great and I was super excited 🙂 Lucky for me, they wanted to send me one of their new winter products to try. I chose the Women’s Fleece Storm Full Zip Hoody.
I’ve been wearing it constantly to my early morning runs with Back on My Feet. At 5:45am in the December morning chilly darkness, this hoody has been my lifesaver.
What I love most is that it’s made for rain/snow weather too — something I really needed in a running jacket. At first I was afraid it would be too bulky, but it actually fits really nicely to my body in a comfortable way. I’ve enjoyed it for shorter runs outside this winter.
Here are a few more details about this awesome jacket:
- Armour® Fleece fabric finished with UA Storm technology to repel water
- Soft, brushed inner layer traps heat for all-day warmth and comfort
- Signature Moisture Transport System wicks sweat so it dries faster than ordinary cotton
- Lightweight stretch construction improves mobility for full range of motion
- Two-piece hood with drawcords for superior comfort and fit
- Princess seams create a slimmer, more streamlined silhouette
- Exaggerated ribbed cuffs and hem
- Side hand pockets
- 244g Polyester
- Imported
Thanks to Under Armour for letting me sample some of their new product line. While the jacket was a gift, I honestly love it. Check out this jacket and more products online!
Misting nozzles form the core part of any misting systems. The flash evaporation is not possible without these little devices and there would not mist effect too. Different types of misting nozzles are available in terms of the materials used in the construction. The most common type is the brass misting nozzle that is made up entirely of brass and ensures a reliable performance for a long time. If you wish to get a fine mist, then you must go for a ceramic misting nozzle. These nozzles may be entirely ceramic or it might be made of brass or stainless steel coating and a ceramic insert. In a ceramic one, the size of the droplets that comes out would be as small as 1-3 microns while the bras mist nozzles may be capable of producing droplets of 7-10 microns. If the water droplets produced are very fine, the required pressure to achieve flash evaporation can be reduced. There is yet another benefit of using the ceramic orifice. They have a long life compared to nozzles made of other materials and there is less wear. it is obviously the ability of these misting nozzles to produce a fog or mist that instantly atomizes that makes the misting systems a grand success. The misting fans and mist line systems can boast of the flash evaporation since it is made efficient by the nozzles. Since they are highly proficient, their prices may be a bit high. However there are proposals to bring in anti-drip nozzles that would last for more time than the normal ones. However there is one major drawback with the misting nozzles. While they are being used the water outlets are so small and very fine that it becomes easy to be clogged. To overcome this hurdle, each misting system would be equipped with filtration system to catch fine products which filter the particles out to a size of 5 microns. For a high quality misting nozzle, there would be a double filter system where the first filter would remove particles down to 5 microns. Later the second filter would filter down to 1 micron. Misting nozzles are things which need less maintenance as they are not so delicate or intricate. Hence they rarely need to be attended to. You may have to inspect them for possible clogging in once or twice a year. If possible you can also clean them often so that any potential clogging problems can be diverted. If you have a misting system that would not be used for a long time, the first thing that you need to remember is to remove the misting nozzles. If water stays in the system for a long time, a deposit can build up inside a line which would affect the operation of nozzles. There is an easy way to clean the misting nozzles if you wish to increase their efficiency. You need to remove them from the line and place them in a container of vinegar solution that is slightly weakened than water. There are even cleaning products exclusively offered to clean the nozzles which would effectively remove any debris.

People that love antique hunting, sometimes also have a passion for something that is different or unique. This may be why Canadian antique furniture is sought after by antique hunters. This does not mean, you compensate on the quality when considering purchasing the item. You check for quality. You do this by checking drawers to see if it open and close easily. Also, examine the doors and see if they are secured tightly to the hinges and that there are no missing pieces. Look over to see that the joints are still strong and sturdy.Do some research online or via advertisements before going across the border and locate a few antique shops. Furniture sold in antique shops is generally more expensive than at other places. This is due to the store owner giving his time and expertise to locate quality pieces. Other places you can antique hunt these furniture are thrift stores, garage sales and estate sale. Make sure you do your research well and have some level of knowledge in the field before purchasing at these places. A sales person may care more about his own pocket than you. You may end up with a replica or reproductions. Also if you do your research well, it will lend in room for you to negotiate and bargain. You can also purchase Canadian antique furniture online. This can be done by searching for a dealer online or engaging in online auctions. A drawback on this is you would not be able to inspect the furniture before purchasing them.
