Does this look the start to a great day to you? Cause it does to me! |
I’ve always been a little scared of running a race anywhere but a nice, open road. But, if you stick to your comfort zone, you never LIVE. I’m finding that out a lot this year — namely since jumping out of my zone and joining Crossfit.
Also? I’m going to a totally different kind of zone — a war zone — when I fly to the Congo this summer. And — I’ve signed up for the 13.1-mile Tough Mudder in September. I’m cracking all kinds of ceilings in my life this year. And…another opportunity has just arisen. Enter, The North Face Endurance Challenge, presented by Gore-Tex. I’m so excited to be a part of the North Face Endurance Challenge Blogger Team so…
Are you up for it?
Why do I love this? Options. You’ve got the following:

- 50k
- 50-mile run
- Marathon Relay
- Kid’s Run Marathon

I found this video montage of one of these competitions last year if you are interested in just how an “endurance challenge” goes down:
So, here’s the deal. First, pick a race & sign up! What are you waiting for?
Second, be sure to get all friendly with The NorthFace on social media. Here they are on Twitter and here they are on Facebook.
Got a question? Well, they are frequently asked so here are your answers.
TRAIL RUNNERS! Where are my trail runners? Are you out there? I’ve never done this. I would love for some experienced ladies and gentleman to weigh in. How can I prepare for this kind of running? What makes it different? I’m clueless so I am seeing your expert advice!
