Last night, I went to the Kenny Chesney concert at FedEx Field. But, the real reason I went was to see Zac Brown — love him! Billy Currington was also there so it was an awesome lineup and perfect weather for a night outside!
We met at Maggie’s house in the afternoon and then metroed all the way out there — arriving around 4:30 and fresh from a round of pre-drinks. Maggie and I found this amazing spiked lemonade stand — basically lemonade with strawberry vodka and it was too delicious for words!
We had nosebleed seats but still a great view and a fun time. I enjoyed Zac Brown but unfortunately, the sound for Kenny was terrible. You could barely hear what song he was singing and it got kind of old.
I was pretty excited to have enjoyed some gross pig out food, like a huge hot salty pretzal, nachos and cheese and beer of course!
i so want to see zac brown. i saw kenny almost 10 years ago and he was amazing, but really too bad the sound wasn't up to par.
I probably was a bigger fan of Kenny back then but oh well. Zac Brown was still great though!
