I woke up this morning having missed the late news last night that Osama Bin Laden had been killed. Such news has been long sought for 10 years. It almost seemed impossible that we’d ever find him so it seems a little surreal. It’s an uncomfortable acknowledgment because however much celebrating was had around the nation last night, justice will never truly be served. One man was killed in exchange for 3,000 innocents — and I’m glad they found him. I just have trouble being overly joyous about it. Here is a video of President Obama’s speech, which I think was pretty good.

Having failed to get online or check the news, I had no idea this was going on at the White House last night. Apparently, a lot of people I know were there and it is rather historical so here we go, for the record:
