I LOVE Blue Diamond for all their amazing flavors. Like, they took the basic almond and then created the biggest flavor bursts you can imagine — and we all fell in love. I would never have thought about flavors like Wasabi & Soy Sauce or Smokehouse but the way they smother their almonds with seasoning make them totally addictive.
The other thing about almonds is that they are super healthy — a great, filling snack in the midst of all those high calorie, unhealthy options you see around the holidays.
Also awesome is that while they are perfect for snacking, you can also throw them into all kinds of great dinner recipes. My favorite thing to do with all flavors of almonds is crush them up and add them as crusted fish or chicken.
Here are a couple of ideas for these two specific flavors — Wasabi & Soy Sauce and Smokehouse:
- Curry Pepper Beef with Smoked Almond Pilaf
- Almond Crusted Salmon with Maple Balsamic Glaze
- Wasabi & Soy Sauce Hummus
- Wasabi & Panko-Crusted Pork with Gingered Soy Sauce
- Smokehouse Almond Crusted Chicken Breasts
These are just a few of the things you can make, but feel free to experiment. I like to toss almonds into stir fries (these would be perfect for that), on salads or honestly, in almost anything I’m eating because I love the crunch.
Mostly, I’m just excited Blue Diamond exists to meet our flavor demands because I’ve never found anything else that matches them — and that’s why the nut aisle at the grocery store is always on my list of places to stop!
