If I have to choose between new workout clothes and new regular clothes — is there any doubt what I would pick? I think not.
But just like every other shopping experience, find the right clothes for YOU at the right price isn’t easy. At least this time around, I knew what I was looking for:
- Big, flowy
- Room to grow
- Comfortable
In the past, I’ve stuck more to tighter tops. No real reason, just veered that direction. Now that I’m pregnant — and still in that “in between” phase — getting some bigger shirts is a priority. Okay, so off to Dick’s I go!
The store I normally visit by my house (not Dick’s) doesn’t have nearly the selection of Dick’s so I was like in Disney World when I saw how big their women’s section was.
Reebok, Nike, Under Armour and even…CALIA by Carrie Underwood! That is not the entire list but you get the picture. So I started throwing everything over my arm before heading to the dressing room. I always like to have a nice stockpile so I don’t have to go back in again.
I’m not exactly decisive so narrowing it down was rough but I love colorful stuff and inspiration phrases so I went with a couple of items that incorporated that.
There were also some yoga materials, water bottles, headbands and other accessories if you are looking for something besides clothes.
All in all, I was thoroughly satisfied with the selection in the women’s department. Offering so many different brands is KEY to being able to find exactly what works for you.

Nike , Nike, Nike! They have great styles and colors and I love how they have made more styles that flatter a woman’s body!

I’m an Under Armour fan. Comfortable and dies a great job of wicking away the sweat, though a little pricey.

I am a huge fan of Nike! I love their stylish active wear and tennis shoes. Their clothes are so colorful and bright that they make me happy when I wear them!
My go to is Lucy for workout pants. They are so durable and fit great! I love that Dick’s carries them too 🙂 For tops, I wear everything.

I’ve always loved Reebok, even before CrossFit. And even though I don’t CrossFit anymore I still gravitate towards their lines because they’re so comfy and functional. I also love how they’re constantly improving and constantly working on putting out a better product.
I like Saucony for running/workout tops and Nike for running pants!

My favorite yoga pants are Danskin – wash and dry nicely and are super comfortable.
My favorite brand is danskin now because their close have good prices and they have a bunch of different colors to choose from.
