Happy Monday everyone! First off, let me mention that these photos were taken awhile back so that’s why you might be missing “the bump.” However, I wanted to make sure I showed you some more (check out my first post here!) of the awesome stuff I recently snagged at DICK’s!
It seems like smaller brands first caught on to the “inspiration t-shirt” first but finally, the more mainstream brands are in on it. Brands like:
- Nike
- Reebok
- Calia by Carrie
- Under Armour
You can see in the shirt above, the words read “Believe in Yourself.” Even that little mantra is enough to make you feel a tad more invincible when you head out the door for a workout.
I got a ton of new clothes from DICK’s and am so excited to say that LOTS of the brands featured there offer inspirational phrases to load up on your clothes. I’ve always been a fan of this approach — having collected myself about a million Reebok CrossFit shirts in the past three years. Those always have fun, “push-me” phrases on them.
In the photo above this one, I’m wearing a Nike “Never Give In” tank, which I love for it’s color, roominess and messaging.
Of course there are also plenty of great leggings to choose from. I have mostly black but one thing I also love is that leggings have gotten fancy pants as well. The lady athletes demanded bright colors and patterns — and these brands delivered!
As I’ve mentioned before, I would rather spend my money on cute workout clothes than regular, every day clothes so I’m pretty darn happy there’s a DICK’s nearby to help me out with that.
Back in the old days, all you could find were boring old tanks and running shorts. But DICK’s has evolved with the fitness world and realized there are different kinds of lady athletes. We like:
- Yoga
- CrossFit
- Running
- Dance
- Swimming
- Power walking
- Pilates
- Barre
- & More!
And guess what? There are different kinds of clothes for different kinds of athletics!
Do you have any favorite phrases or shirts you wear to get you inspired to work out? I’d love to hear them!
