Hello happy Thursday hello! My weeks are just flying by these days — probably because I’m having such a blast learning and implementing everything I’m learning in Marie Forleo’s B-School and reading my brains out to learn more! Just a small token of what I’ve learned? More confidence — and that’s not even a technical skill, but it’s such a major part of being successful.
I just finished Gary Vaynerchuck’s “Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook” complete with notes on every page and I’m now onto “Tribes” by Seth Godin and “Now, Discover Your Strengths” by Marcus Buckingham.
I’m just inhaling all this amazing social marketing and business advice — and I love it. I only wish I had discovered my deep passion for this stuff earlier! But it’s never too late and I’m taking everything I can get. In the process, I’ve also discovered a couple of other new sites to keep on my radar, Daily Worth and Social Triggers.
Yes, it’s information overload but I simply MUST share the good nuggets that cross my path. The Internet is a wonderful thing 🙂
Awesomeness This Weekend
I’m so pumped to have TWO fun fitness adventures for the weekend. The first one takes place on Saturday — DC Fit. If you are in or near the DC-area, you should totally come join us (especially because I have a 15% off code and it’s not expensive in the first place!)
They’ve got some awesome sponsors, like Reebok and Sweetgreen and a jam-packed schedule for us fitness lovers. Here’s the schedule:
I should be there all day and can’t wait! Interested? The Sweet Life readers get a 15% discount on tickets. When you sign up, just use the code: Sweetlife! If you plan to attend, let me know so I can say hello!
Sunday afternoon I’m headed to Barre3 in Georgetown — so pumped because I’ve been dying to try Barre but haven’t done it yet. It looks like something I will really enjoy — I only wish all these fun studios were down the block from my house!
Have read any inspirational books lately? Do you like books about leadership and entreprenership? What is your latest fascination?
those are three of my FAVE FAVE BOOKS AS WELL.
