Hi everyone! Well, today’s the day — I’m taking commitments for the Core Power Challenge! But, perhaps you’d like to know a little more before signing on. Here’s the scoop:
- The Sweet Life will post the Core Move of the Day every morning. It may be a stand alone blog post — or most likely, found at the end of that day’s post.
- Once you’ve got your daily assignment, go for it when you have time!
- Then, tweet and/or Instagram with the hashtag #CoreCommit when you are done.
- Keep track of all of your links because at the end of the 30 days, I’ll need to see 30 tweets/Instagram links to prove you stayed committed every day.
- Those who commit to the full 30 days will be entered into a drawing at the end of the month to win a prize.
- The PRIZE? Any item of up to a $75 value from Lululemon or Fabletics (your pick!)
I’m really excited to do this with you guys! So don’t forget, the hashtag is #CoreCommit and the fun starts on Monday! To participate, PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE so I can have everyone’s name and social info to start following and track.
Start following me to follow my lead on updates!
*You MUST follow the directions and tweet/Instagram with the hashtag each day, tracking those links to submit at the end to be entered to win the contest!

Day one done!
So I am having trouble fitting this in because I don't work out after work and don't check the internet before work… (also, I work out way before the day is posted). My plan is to do everything a day behind, so that I can put the challenge into my workout, but was just checking to see if you could post the week plan ahead of time…? If not, I'll just be a day behind 🙂
Yes that's totally fine! I was thinking of putting them up a day before but wasn't sure if that would work well. But yeah totally a day behind is fine. It'll take a few days for me to get around to picking a random winner anyway!
I was just reading through a few of your posts trying to figure out what you thought was wrong with your back. I have had back issues for the past year and have had to completely change my workouts and lifestyle because of it. I was overworking myself before and I know now I need rest.
Anyway, they originally thought I had a disc and treated me like tha tfor 2 months. But I didn't. I had great success with seeing a spine specialist, ART (active release therapy) and Prolotherapy (my problem is in my SI joint). Then I gradually started doing weight lifting to build myselk back up. I still can't run (not upset about it) or do anything high intensity, but I have learned to love lifting. good luck!
