Oh hi there! That’s the face of a girl who realllly didn’t want to do a Sunday afternoon work out but did it anyway. No, it’s not monumental but hey, it made my day better and I’m glad I did it.

And then I could eat my afternoon fro yo with Maggie in peace! Met up with Mags for some much needed girl talk but neither of us seemed very photo-schnazzy so I just took a pick of this deliciousness (vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter with strawberries, coconut & hot fudge):

The weekend — in general — was good and do you know why? Cause this chick got her butt out of bed at 6:15am on Saturday and banged out a full 15 miles. Hello marathon! Check out the stats:

I hardly thought I could get myself to do it but I did and boy am I glad. It wasn’t even all that hard — knock on wood. I was tired the rest of the day but for the most part, it was all good.

I was smart and foam rolled like a mother and next week when I run 18, I plan on taking my very first ice bath (yikes!).

Yesterday, I just did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes of arms. I’m only letting myself run 3 days a week so my knees don’t start to give me problems. I think this is going to help in the long run.

After the run, I went to the Back on My Feet Summer BBQ at the fountain park. It was a beautiful, perfect day for a BBQ and I enjoyed spending time with my BoMF peeps. These little ladies were totally adorable. They are the kids of some of our resident runners:

Later that night, Rick and I went to see “The Campaign” with Will Ferrel and Zack Galifinakis. Sadly, it really wasn’t that funny. There were definitely some funny moments making fun of how ridiculous campaign commercials can but overall, thumbs down!

Oh yeah this awesomeness finally got developed! You already know how beautiful Michelle’s sunrise wedding was but the professional photographs make it even more apparent. See all the photos and read the whole story over at her blog. Here’s a sneak peak:

Last, but not least, I’m still amazed by the power of the Internet. I recently had a three-way Skype chat with my sister and my brother-in-law — in Indiana and Afghanistan, respectively. It wasn’t super high quality but it was still pretty neat:

Shelby and I have also tried doing Google Hangout, which seems to be the exact thing same as Skype aside from the fact that Google Hangout allows more than 2 people for free, while Skype charges I believe.

Does anyone out there have a preference between Google Hangout and Skype? Just curious.
