I am a salsa girl! I would like to go to a restaurant where there is just a salsa bar — chock full of salsas from spicy to sweet to savory to sour!

I want it to have little mini-bowls for tasting them all and 10 thousand kinds of chips to choose from. I want it to be paired with fruity beers and of course — salsa music!

Sadly, I have yet to find this salsa heaven — can anyone help me out with some suggestions? Or perhaps I should become a salsa entreprenuer!

Okay, this fruit salsa I’ve made isn’t salsa salsa, but it’s close enough for me! And let’s be honest, you really can’t go wrong with an avocado.

Mangos might be my all time favorite fruit so win-win! I paired this with mini-scoops multi-grain Tostitos. For some reason, I think the multi-grain Tostitos taste ten times better than regular…maybe it’s their goldeny look? Not sure but I love ’em!

What’s YOUR favorite type of salsa or dip? What are the best chips for dipping?

Mango Strawberry Pineapple Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 carton strawberries
  • 1 whole mango
  • 3/4 fresh pineapple, cubed
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Chopped cilantro
  • Salt & pepper
  • Chips!

Directions: Chop, mix, toss & eat!
*You can also just eat this by the spoonful sans chips. I mean…that’s just what I heard 🙂
