I’m back from a whirlwind weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota where I was at RightOnline 2011. I was excited to meet up with many of my online friends from Twitter, Facebook and the blogs. Last year, we met up in Vegas so it wasn’t quite as glamorous this year but still a great time. I had the opportunity to be on a panel discussing the use of social media to amplify your personal website. I’ve had some success on various social mediums — and in fact, have made a career out of these platforms. It is always fun to chat with people who are new and excited to get started!

After being sick all of Friday — the worst I’ve ever felt — I was back in the game Saturday and had the opportunity to hear some wonderful speakers like Herman Cain. He sounds like an awesome Southern preacher and says he doesn’t mind if you shout “Amen!” every now and then (not that I did but I kind of wanted to!)

I learned a bit from my fellow social media-ites and became more inspired to keep THIS blog up even better. I was able to slip in two out-of-town workouts in the awesome hotel gym — though I had to rely on magazines to get me through it. When you are left with “Redbook” and you buy it from the hotel store for $5, you are definitely getting desperate (I’m not that old yet!)

Just wanted to share with you three delicious meals I’ve had in the past few days as well. My cooking has been put on hold!

1. Homemade granola with walnuts, sunflower seeds, raisins, cranberries, strawberries and milk:

2. Lemon-pepper baked salmon and a sweet potato wedge:

3. Roasted chicken with cheese & pasta salad:
