Remember that photo? Yes, taken in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah (or just outside the city) for my first trip the state and my first official Blend Retreat. I’m lucky enough to be headed back for the second year in a row this year with Balance Bar.

This year, we’re camping out in Boulder, Colorado. Leave it to Lindsay, Janetha and Lauren to find the perfect spot. No normal hotels for us — we’re staying in cabins, which I’m really excited about.

Four years ago when I started my blog, I went to some other conferences — like Healthy Living Summit and Fitbloggin. Those are both really fun — but Blend seems to be more my style. It’s laid back, in a beautiful location and not focused on making your blog successful or building a business. Not that those things aren’t wonderful, but this really is more like a retreat from every day life where you can unwind and connect with women just like you!

I’m thrilled to be heading there with Balance Bar again. I’ve been am AmBarsador for Balance Bar for 2 years now and continue to appreciate what they stand for. As you know, this blog and my life is all about finding a healthy balance. I don’t believe in extreme dieting or exercising and I’m all about enjoying the things and foods you love in life.

And even better for you and all your friends ;), they have these amazing new flavors that I can’t even do justice with words. Listen to some of this amazingness:

  • Caramel Nut Blast
  • Dark Chocolate Caramel Macchiato
  • Double Chocolate Brownie
  • Lemon Meringue Crunch
  • S’Mores
  • Mocha Chip

So those are just a few of my favorite flavors but they aren’t it by a long shot. I love bringing a bar with me wherever I go because you know I have to eat every 2 hours or I start to feel faint! 🙂 Yes, yes, you need those snacks.

Anyway, I’m super excited to get back with my “blends” spend some time relaxing and connecting in Boulder. I even get to visit my friend Anne that lives in Denver for a day after I leave. Ahh, the perks of travel!
