When I heard the term “immersive fitness,” I was immediately intrigued. I mean, what does it make you think of? It could be so many things — but it certainly sounds futuristically cool. Definitely like something I want to be a part of!

It’s coming soon and hopefully, at a gym near you — from Reebok & Les Mills.

Group fitness classes have been my jam for a long time. It’s SO much fun to sweat with other people. I work harder, push longer and have way more fun.

Here’s a shot of me with some friends at a recent group class in the area:

The traditional “group fitness” class isn’t quite as popular these days but Reebok and Les Mills think it should be. I can’t say I disagree after hearing about this amazing new era they are embarking on.

Watch this video to get a quick taste of it:

So…what is immersive fitness exactly? Taking the fitness experience to the next level by projecting cinema quality videos onto screens in a studio built just for this kind of thing. You will be transported into a seemingly real-life environment where instructors cute exercise moves and movements to sync with the music, graphics and scenery.

It’s time for technology to got beyond Fitbits — this is the next phase in technological exercise. You can actually see how they’re doing regularly by following The Project on Instagram here.

Want to keep up with the coming “immersive fitness” trend? You can sign up here for news and to keep an eye out for studios coming to the U.S.!

The next level of fitness is here. IMMERSIVE FITNESS™ surrounds participants with cinema quality video content projected onto screens of a purpose-built studio.  Exercise moves synchronize perfectly with music and graphics, creating a truly immersive fitness experience. Learn more!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Les Mills. The opinions and text are all mine.
